Shane Vent became a HARDSCAPE HERO in September of 2016. We recently caught up with him again to see how he was doing.
“Having won the award gives me a sense of pride. It’s great knowing all of the people who saw my job and voted for me think it’s exceptional work,” Vent says.
Every HARDSCAPE HERO wins a professional photo shoot of their winning job, and Shane says that his clients were ecstatic to find out that their yard won an award. “They were very pleased. Having their yard looked at as a prize job means something to them. They know they picked a good contractor and did something unique,” Shane says.
Winning the HARDSCAPE HERO also helps the business in the long term. “We get new work because of the award. It brings us a lot of attention. I think the award is great for the industry because it showcases the best jobs out there. A lot of people don’t realize what you can do with this material and it’s good to show them the flexibility in design that it has,” says Vent. “I’m going to keep submitting. I really appreciate what Eagle Bay does with this program.”
